to provide the omfgosh service.
1. Information We Collect
- Location Data: To match you with nearby users, we request access to your
latitude and longitude. This data is used solely for the purpose of assigning you to a
group. We do not track your movement history.
- Device Safety Signals: We analyze technical characteristics of your device and
connection to help identify and block bad actors. This data is converted into a security
identifier used exclusively for preventing abuse and enforcing bans.
- IP Address: Standard server logs and our hosting providers may record your IP
address for security, rate limiting, and spam prevention.
- Messages: Messages you send are stored ephemerally in our database to
facilitate the chat.
2. Data Retention
We are designed to be ephemeral.
- Inactive Members: Member records are removed after approximately 5-10 minutes
of inactivity.
- Empty Groups: Groups with no members are deleted automatically.
- Messages: While not strictly auto-deleted instantly, we do not intend to keep a
permanent archive of chat history. Messages are tied to groups, which are ephemeral.
3. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate:
- Supabase: For real-time database functionality.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: To protect the app from bots and spam. Cloudflare may
collect information necessary for this security check.

By using omfgosh, you agree to these terms.
1. Age Restriction
You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. If you are under 18, please
close this tab immediately.
2. Acceptable Use
Do not use this service to:
- Harass, bully, or threaten others.
- Share illegal content or coordinate illegal activities.
- Spam message channels.
- Upload or share copyrighted material without permission.
3. Content & Liability
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. We are not responsible for user-generated content (UGC). We do
not actively monitor every message. You are solely responsible for your interactions with others.
We reserve the right to ban users (via IP or session blocking) for violating these rules.
